Having lived in North Queensland for many years, Isabelle Gair-Hemsley enjoys living in beautiful surroundings that inspire many paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Isabelle is a conservationist and avid bird watcher. Her main impetus in art is to paint canvases and create sculptures of wildlife and birds that everyone can enjoy and to hopefully spread awareness on wildlife conservation.

Isabelle likes experimenting with different materials and methods, adding different techniques and effects, although mostly she just likes having fun! She uses a variety of mediums including acrylics, oils, watercolours, gouache, and inks, and enjoys abstract effects mixed with fine-art and illustration, while also including texture and relief – helping to bring the painting to ‘life’.

Isabelle produces eye catching, awe-inspiring work, all adding to the total art-meets-nature experience!
