Join Umbrella and award-winning artist Alison McDonald in The Studio to create your very own ring from sterling silver.

Attendees will learn the fundamental processes of silversmithing, including soldering, and learn how to measure, cut, saw, hammer, and file the metal to create a ring. As a result, participants will take home a completed, personal, and one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery. 

The workshop will be suitable for beginners, and attendees will be guided through every step of the process. Class sizes are small and enable one-on-one teaching. Each workshop will run from 9am to 4pm with a half an hour lunch break.
