Stephen Sailor Oliver of Waanyi, Kuku Yalanji and Erub Island decent has been dancing and painting from an early age and carries on developing his skills and knowledge of his culture to share. He is a pivotal figure amongst his community and as an emerging artist, his work is fresh with the use of pastel colours combined with the dot art of his Waanyi background. His artwork reflects his surroundings and his belief that we all have a part to play, reminding us of the importance to take care of the environment and Country.
